What is Revive?

Belotero Revive combines moisture-attracting hyaluronic acid with glycerol to aid retention. It may be considered when skin feels tight despite moisturizer, makeup looks patchy or texture seems rough.

The focus is hydration and smooth texture rather than substantial volume. We assess dryness, sensitivity and the cause of redness to plan treatment.

What are the advantages?

Hydration that replenishes and retains moisture

Hyaluronic acid attracts water; glycerol helps retain it. Together they address hydration in dry, dull skin.

Smooth texture and natural radiance

When skin lacks moisture, texture can look rough and makeup patchy. Revive addresses moisture and texture for hydrated, smooth-looking skin.

Skin concerned with both dryness and redness

It may be considered for dry, red skin depending on condition. Clinical research has observed improved redness, but redness has many causes, including inflammation, blood vessels and skin disease, so assessment comes first.

How do hyaluronic acid and glycerol differ?

Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water. Revive uses crosslinked hyaluronic acid, connecting molecules into a gel structure.

Glycerol, also called glycerin, is a moisturizing ingredient that helps retain water alongside hyaluronic acid.

Who may be suitable?

  • When skin often feels dry and dull
  • When makeup looks patchy or skin texture rough
  • When you want hydration and natural radiance rather than large volume changes
  • When you want to discuss a hydration injection with longer-lasting moisture
  • When dryness and redness coexist and you want care suited to your skin

Tell us before treatment

Disclose allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding and previous treatments. With acne or dermatitis, we review inflammation and treatment history. Local inflammation or infection may need treatment first.

When do results appear, and how long do they last?

We assess moisture and texture after initial swelling and redness subside. About 3–6 months is a hydration reference; duration varies with skin, sessions and lifestyle.

One treatment does not produce the same duration for everyone. Dryness and skin response guide repeat treatment and intervals.

How is the treatment performed?

  1. Skin check: We assess dryness, sensitivity, texture, redness and previous treatments.
  2. Scope: We assess thickness and concerns to determine scope and injection method.
  3. Anesthesia · Injection: After anesthesia suited to sensitivity, we inject across the planned areas.
  4. Follow-up guidance: We assess skin response and explain recovery care and the next appointment.

Recovery & Precautions

Swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness may occur, as can nodules, inflammation, infection and intravascular injection complications. Avoid firm pressure or self-directed massage; follow instructions. Maintain moisturizing and sunscreen, pausing irritating products until skin settles.

Contact the clinic immediately for worsening pain or pale or dark-red skin. Sudden vision changes require immediate emergency care.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it differ from a standard hydration injection?

Revive combines crosslinked hyaluronic acid and glycerol, focusing on replenishing and retaining moisture. Hydration and repeat treatment plans are explained according to the actual product and skin condition.

How long does hydration last?

About 3–6 months is a reference. Sessions and skin condition affect duration; actual dryness and texture changes guide further treatment.

Can acne-prone or red skin receive it?

With both dryness and redness, it may be considered after assessment. Active acne or severe inflammation may require other treatment first. Revive is not described as a replacement for acne treatment.

Does it work for atopic dermatitis or rosacea?

Hydration care differs from treating skin disease. Condition type, inflammation, medications and treatment history must be assessed. We do not guarantee treatment of atopic dermatitis or rosacea; assessment determines whether hydration treatment is suitable.

Is it the same as facial volumizing filler?

Even within Belotero, products and goals differ. Revive focuses on hydration and texture rather than large volume changes.

How many sessions do I need?

Sessions and intervals depend on dryness, skin and previous response. We monitor hydration, texture and recovery to plan.
