What is TAPSCO?

WayB uses Careis-distributed TAPSCO to refine bridge/tip contours through thread support. We assess profile proportions from forehead through bridge/tip to lips and chin.

Treatment methodNose thread lifting that supports nasal tissue
Material & Specific ProductClinic copy describes PDO. Official information distinguishes PDO/PCL; confirm the actual product.
Planned areaBridge/tip contours and overall facial proportions
Difference from surgeryDifferent from surgical nasal bone/cartilage correction
History to check firstRhinoplasty, implants, filler, threads and inflammation history

Careis separately introduces PDO and PCL TAPSCO. Materials/configurations may differ under the shared name; confirm actual product.

Structure and proportions before height

Nose contours are not determined by one height. Thickness, tissue, existing bridge/tip and overall proportions guide feasible changes and limitations.

Thread support has limits and is not described as equivalent to changing bone/cartilage surgically. We do not plan excessive support to force a shape. Assessment may favor another method or no treatment.

Tell us previous nose treatments in detail

  • For previous rhinoplasty, dates and remembered materials such as implants
  • Previous nose filler/threads: Product/thread type and timing
  • Previous persistent pain, heat, inflammation or skin changes
  • Current nasal wounds/inflammation, medications and allergies

Prior treatment alone does not determine eligibility. Materials and tissue need assessment; uncertain history is clarified first. Thread lifting elsewhere does not establish nose-treatment suitability.

TAPSCO and nose filler have different roles

TAPSCO supports with threads; filler injects material. Even with similar goals, methods, risks and interactions with history differ. Combination is not assumed; understand needed changes and limits first.

Planning & Treatment

  • Assessment: Front/profile views, nasal skin and history.
  • Change scope: Distinguish feasible support from structurally difficult changes.
  • Product/method: Explain actual thread, position, anesthesia and expected responses.
  • Aftercare check: Review contours/surface and obtain pressure, eyewear and activity guidance.

Nasal recovery and contact criteria

Swelling, bruising, pulling and a foreign-body sensation may differ at tip and bridge. Avoid twisting or firm pressure; adjust glasses and pressure-causing activities as instructed.

Contact us for exposed threads, worsening skin changes, pain, heat, swelling or inflammation. Do not push in or pull threads. Repetition follows progress and tissue, not fixed intervals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of nose treatment is TAPSCO?

WayB uses Careis TAPSCO to support tissue and refine bridge/tip, assessing thickness, structure and profile proportions for feasible scope.

Can it create the same change as rhinoplasty?

Thread support differs from surgically changing bone/cartilage. Not every desired height/shape is possible; discuss structural limits and other options.

Can I receive it after rhinoplasty or filler?

Eligibility is not uniform. Check implants/injected material, thread type/timing, and inflammation or discomfort. Share remembered details and records if available.

Are TAPSCO and nose filler the same?

Thread support differs from injecting filler. Neither is selected by name alone or assumed necessary together; plans follow nasal structure and goals.

What about eyewear or pressure on the nose?

Pressure and twisting should be reduced. Eyewear/activity advice follows actual placement and progress, not one fixed period for everyone.

What if a thread is felt at the tip or exposed?

Contact us without pressing or pulling threads. Exposed threads or worsening pain, heat or swelling need assessment, not self-treatment.
