What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is a medical device whose main ingredient is PN (polynucleotide), using PharmaResearch's DOT technology. WayB assesses texture, fine lines, firmness and other skin concerns to determine suitability.

Similar concerns can involve different thickness, dryness, sensitivity and treatment experience. Before treatment, we assess skin and goals and explain the product, injection method and recovery.

What is different about Comfort Rejuran at WayB?

Comfort Rejuran is an in-clinic program adding WayB's own comfort solution to Rejuran, with fine needles and injection adjustments to reduce pain burden.

We consider Rejuran's properties, sensitivity and skin. Pain varies, and swelling, raised bumps, redness or bruising may occur. Alongside comfort, we explain expected recovery responses and aftercare.

Who may be suitable?

  • Persistent inner dryness and tightness despite moisturizer
  • Shallow fine lines and thin skin around eyes and mouth
  • Recovery care for sensitive skin after laser
  • When you want Rejuran but worry about repeated manual-injection pain

When treatment is unsuitable or assessment is needed first

  • If the main goal is filling hollows or changing contours: We consider filler or lifting first.
  • Acute inflammation or infection in the treatment area
  • If pregnant/breastfeeding or with a history of allergy to salmon- or fish-derived ingredients
  • Bleeding disorders or anticoagulant use: Tell the clinician; do not stop medication yourself.

How does it work?

Unlike fillers that immediately create volume, PN supports the dermal recovery environment. Small injections at multiple points can cause temporary surface bumps, which are absorbed over time.

When do results appear, and how long do they last?

  • 2–4 weeks: We gradually observe dryness and texture changes.
  • After 3–4 sessions: Assess skin to set maintenance.
  • Maintenance: Usually about 2–3 months apart as a reference, adjusted for skin and lifestyle.

Components of WayB Comfort Rejuran

CompositionWayB's application approach
Injected ingredientsRejuran (PN) combined with WayB's comfort solution.
Injection methodWe select manual fine-dose injection with small needles or X-Injector according to skin and scope.
Injection designWe adjust depth, amount and speed for local thickness and sensitivity.
Pain managementWe combine topical anesthesia, a comfort solution and injection-method adjustments.

How is the treatment performed?

  1. Assessment: We assess thickness, dryness, fine lines, previous treatments and pain sensitivity.
  2. Topical anesthesia: Usually applied for 20–30 minutes, adjusted to sensitivity.
  3. Comfort solution mixing: We combine Rejuran with WayB's comfort solution. Suitability and mixing ratio may vary with skin and medical judgment.
  4. Injection: Depending on skin and scope, small doses are delivered manually or with X-Injector. Depth, amount and speed differ between thin eye areas and broad cheek areas.
  5. Soothing: We finish with cooling and soothing care.

We agree on a stop signal beforehand and adjust speed and amount per injection if pain increases.

Recovery & Precautions

Small bumps are a normal injection response, usually easing in 1–3 days. They may last longer around thin eye skin; bruising and swelling vary.

48 hours after treatment

  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, strenuous exercise and excessive alcohol.
  • Temporarily stop irritating products such as scrubs, peels and retinol.
  • Avoid strong rubbing or pressure.
  • Use adequate moisturizer and sunscreen.

Contact the clinic if this occurs

  • Contact the clinic for progressively worsening swelling, redness or pain, regardless of time since treatment.
  • Contact the clinic if the area develops heat, pus or fever.
  • If bumps remain over 2 weeks or feel like firm nodules

How we proceed at WayB

  • We combine Rejuran with comfort solution and inject through small, fine needles.
  • Skin thickness varies by area, so injection depth, amount and speed are not identical everywhere.
  • We check discomfort and adjust anesthetic time, injection speed and amount per point.
  • After 2 sessions, we reassess dryness, texture, bump duration and scheduling burden, then adjust the plan.
  • Consultation and treatment are in private rooms; Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese consultation is available.

Understanding the product

The product and the program
Review the distinctions.

How do Rejuran PN and PDRN injections differ?

Standard Rejuran is a medical device made with PN (sodium polynucleotide), officially intended for temporary improvement of adult facial wrinkles. Product information and purposes must be distinguished from PDRN medications.

Terms such as “salmon-derived” or “regenerative injection” do not mean identical ingredients or roles. Consultation first confirms the actual name and purpose.

Are Comfort Rejuran and HB plus the same name?

Rejuran HB plus is a separate manufacturer's finished product containing PN, hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. Comfort Rejuran is WayB's program name, so the names are not interchangeable products.

The program considers topical anesthesia, added components and injection technique by area. We agree on a stop signal beforehand; report increasing discomfort immediately. Sensation varies, and no single product or method eliminates pain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Comfort Rejuran have different ingredients from regular Rejuran?

The main ingredient remains Rejuran PN. WayB adds a comfort solution to reduce injection burden and injects carefully in small doses through fine needles.

Is it completely painless?

No. Topical anesthesia, comfort solution and fine-dose injections reduce burden, but discomfort varies with thickness, sensitivity and area.

Is it the same as a hydration injection?

They differ. Hydration injections mainly deliver hyaluronic acid-based moisturizers; Rejuran is a PN regenerative skin booster. Goals and recommended plans differ.

Can one session help?

Some notice changes after one session, but for skin recovery, 3–4 sessions 2–4 weeks apart are a general reference. WayB reassesses after 2 sessions and adjusts.

How long do bumps last?

Small bumps usually settle in 1–3 days. They may last longer around thin eye skin or depending on skin and injected amount.

Can X-Injector be used?

Manual fine-dose injection or X-Injector may be considered according to skin and scope. No method suits every area better; assessment guides choice.
