How does consultation use AI skin analysis?

EVE MUSE consultation at WayB is more than checking a “skin score.” Clinicians interpret AI-organized visuals and connect them with your actual concerns to establish a basis for discussion.

01 Imaging

After cleansing, we capture standard-light, UV and polarized images and create a 3D facial model.

02 AI Analysis

Skin images are analyzed for pigmentation, redness, texture and other items, while facial proportions and contour information are organized.

03 Clinician Interpretation

We assess skin, history, lifestyle, previous treatments and current concerns alongside analysis.

04 Personalized Consultation

We explain priorities, what need not be done now, possible treatments and limitations.

05 Planning

Clinicians determine suitability, type, intensity and intervals after in-person assessment. You may have analysis without treatment.

What looks different under each light?

ItemDetails
Standard lightWe assess overall appearance through visible tone and texture.
UV (ultraviolet)UV images help examine pigmentation patterns unclear under standard light, informing pigmentation consultations.
Cross-polarized lightReduced surface reflection helps show redness and blood-vessel distribution for flushing/inflammation discussions.
Parallel-polarized lightIt emphasizes surface reflection to help examine wrinkles, pores and texture.
3D facial modelWrinkle depth, surface elevations, asymmetry, proportions, contours and profile angles inform volume/contour discussion and comparisons.

Side-by-side images across lights and analysis modes show how pigmentation, redness and texture appear in the same area.

For example, for dark circles we assess vascular redness on cross-polarized images, pigmentation on UV images and hollows/shadows on the 3D model. Explaining multiple possible causes first clarifies why an approach is considered, before deciding what to do.

The same standards apply to before-and-after comparisons

EVE MUSE uses consistent lighting and angles to help compare before and after. It aims to reduce illusions from lighting and expression and consider images alongside actual satisfaction.

  • We compare images taken under the same conditions and angles.
  • Results are not judged only from immediate images with swelling or redness.
  • Changes in scores do not always match satisfaction or treatment outcomes.
  • Scores and grades mean different things by item. Clinicians interpret each, rather than judging skin by high or low numbers alone.

What EVE MUSE AI analysis cannot do

  • It does not replace diagnosis. Skin conditions require examination and necessary tests.
  • It does not guarantee results. Improved analysis scores do not necessarily mean equivalent satisfaction.
  • It does not automatically choose treatment. Clinicians set the final plan considering history, lifestyle, schedule and skin.

Imaging preparation and personal-data management

  • We recommend cleansing before imaging to assess pigmentation and redness accurately.
  • Images form part of the medical record.
  • Promotional or publication use requires separate consent from clinical consent.
  • Images are not publicly disclosed without consent; even with consent, identifying features are checked before use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EVE MUSE an AI skin-diagnosis device?

An AI device analyzes multiple-light images and 3D facial information for consultation. Medical diagnosis of skin disease requires examination and necessary tests.

Does AI decide my treatment?

No. AI results are reference material. Clinicians also assess skin, history, lifestyle and previous treatments to discuss needs and priorities.

Can I receive analysis only?

It is part of medical assessment and consultation. Receiving results does not require undergoing treatment.

How long do imaging and analysis take?

Imaging and AI analysis take about 1–2 minutes. Cleansing, preparation, clinician review and consultation require additional time.

Can images be taken with makeup?

We recommend imaging after cleansing for clearer pigmentation, redness and texture assessment.

Which concerns can it help discuss?

It may inform discussion of image-visible pigmentation, redness, texture and pores, or facial proportions, contours and volume. Actual treatment suitability is determined after in-person assessment.

Can it be compared with previous imaging?

Under matching imaging conditions, images may help compare changes. Timing, skin, swelling and lifestyle can still cause differences.

Can I receive the analysis report?

We review them together during consultation; provision scope follows privacy and medical-record standards.

How are captured images used?

Images are managed as medical records. Promotional use on websites or social media always requires separate consent.
