What are fillers?

Fillers are injectable treatments that fill hollows and enhance facial volume and contours. WayB uses hyaluronic acid fillers and plans treatment by considering the area you want to address and its flow into the surrounding contours.

We assess front and side views and movement with expression, then choose the product and amount for your desired degree of change. Products within a brand have different properties, so selection is based on the specific product used.

How do filler brands differ?

BrandIngredients, manufacturing technology and product differences
REJUVIEL VREJUVIEL V with Lidocaineis a crosslinked gel containing hyaluronic acid 22mg/mL. Injected beneath skin, it physically fills tissue. The manufacturer's stated purpose is temporary improvement of adult facial wrinkles. PharmaResearch product information
JuvedermHYLACROSS·VYCROSS technologies form this HA filler family. Firmness, cohesivity, water absorption and HA concentration vary by product. Not all Juvederm products use the same manufacturing technology. Manufacturer's technical information
RestylaneNASHAproduces a firm gel for shape support, while OBTproduces flexible gel responding to compression and stretching. Properties vary within the brand by technology and specific product. Galderma technology information
BeloteroCPM technology creates higher- and lower-density HA regions in one gel, engineering integration with surrounding tissue through this varying-density structure. Merz technology information
StylageIPN-Like crosslinking is used in this HA filler family from VIVACY, France. Wrinkle/volume products such as M and XL contain Mannitol, with gel elasticity and viscosity designed differently by product. Manufacturer's technical information · M formulation

Crosslinking connects HA molecules to maintain gel form. Concentration, firmness and flexibility differ, including within one brand. M/XL in the table are manufacturer-family examples; confirm the actual product at consultation.

REJUVIEL — natural-looking volume for facial harmony

REJUVIEL, the premium hyaluronic acid filler from PharmaResearch, known for Rejuran.

It uses pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid from HTL, France, with proprietary crosslinking for soft, stable properties.

From raw-material purity to gel-property design, factors that may cause inflammation or hypersensitivity are considered for reduction. Natural-looking volume supports facial harmony and beauty that suits you.

What is a core–shell structure?

A design using inner and outer gels with different characteristics, balancing volume support and soft integration with surrounding tissue. These characteristics are called gel properties.

Raw materials and product differences

REJUVIEL uses pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid from HTL, France. Products differ in firmness and flexibility within the brand, allowing selection for thickness and needed volume.

Juvederm — soft volume and smooth contours

Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler brand designed for smooth transitions from filled hollows to surrounding contours. Its soft, uniform gel is selected according to desired volume, feel and structural support.

What is Vycross technology?

Vycross connects different-sized hyaluronic acid molecules to form gel. Connecting molecules is called crosslinking. Products using Vycross have differing softness and elasticity based on this structure.

Not all Juvederm products share the same technology or properties. We assess hollows, wrinkles, skin thickness and expression movement to select the specific product.

Restylane — selection for shape and movement

Sometimes defined shape matters most; sometimes natural movement when smiling or talking matters more. Restylane offers hyaluronic acid products with different firmness and flexibility for these needs.

NASHA — a gel for structural support

NASHA stabilizes hyaluronic acid during manufacturing. This relatively firm, supportive product family may be considered for needed volume and shape.

OBT — a gel designed for expression movement

OBT is a manufacturing technology designed for gel flexibility. Selection considers movement with surrounding tissue during expression. Products differ even with the same technology, so explanations refer to the actual product.

Belotero — contours that flow into surrounding skin

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid filler designed with a smooth transition into surrounding skin in mind, rather than prominence only at the injected site. Product choice considers the shape of wrinkles and hollows and skin thickness.

What is CPM technology?

A technology that creates high- and low-density regions within a single gel. The structure combines areas that support shape with areas that integrate with surrounding tissue.

Natural-looking results depend on injection location, amount and facial anatomy as well as product properties. We assess front and side views and movement with expression.

Stylage — considering shape and expression together

Stylage is VIVACY's hyaluronic acid filler from France. We select differing support and softness to restore volume while integrating with surrounding facial expression.

IPN-Like technology adjusts gel structure and properties; mannitol considers HA stability, while the Bi-SOFT syringe assists injection control. See the Stylage page for details.

What design is considered by area?

AreaDesign focus
Forehead · TemplesForehead curve and transition into the profile
Anterior cheeks · CheeksHollow locations, central-face dimension and surrounding volume harmony
Nasolabial areaWrinkle depth, surrounding volume and sagging
Under eyesDistinguish hollows, protrusion and skin color contributing to shadows
LipsCupid's bow, border, upper/lower ratio and smile shape
ChinFrontal width, profile projection and lower-face proportions

Needs vary even within the same named area. We assess it with surrounding tissue and first determine whether filler is suitable.

What do you consider for natural-looking filler?

To assess facial balance, we consider both the volume of an area and its surrounding contours. We examine differences between sides from the front, profile transitions and movement with expression, and discuss the degree of change you want.

Skin thickness, the location and type of existing filler, and the relative contribution of hollowness and sagging also affect the plan. We select the product, amount and depth for the required scope, then assess recovery before deciding whether further correction is needed.

How is the treatment performed?

  1. Assessment · Design: We assess your area of concern, overall proportions, expressions and previous treatments. We may refer to EVE MUSE analysis when needed.
  2. Product · Volume Plan: We select the specific product and treatment scope based on your desired changes and skin condition.
  3. Anesthesia · Injection: We choose anesthesia and an injection method suited to the area, then inject small amounts at the planned depth.
  4. Check · Guidance: We check asymmetry and movement with expression, then explain recovery and the timing of reassessment.

Recovery & Precautions

Swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary asymmetry may occur, and recovery varies between individuals. Avoid firm pressure or self-directed massage of the area, and follow the aftercare instructions. Tell us about previous treatments, allergies, medications and important upcoming events during your consultation.

Nodules, delayed inflammation and infection can occur, as can complications such as vascular occlusion.

Signs that require immediate help

Contact the clinic immediately if your skin becomes pale white or develops a purple, net-like pattern with worsening pain. For sudden vision changes, slurred speech or weakness in an arm or leg, call 119 or seek emergency care immediately, and also notify the clinic.

How we proceed at WayB

  • We review goals, proportions and expression movement together.
  • We consider specific product properties alongside the brand.
  • We distinguish hollows and sagging to plan scope and amount.
  • We explain product, amount, expected changes and recovery beforehand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which filler is best?

No single product is best for everyone. Desired shape, thickness and smile movement guide choice. We explain plainly why it fits and what changes may be expected.

Can it be dissolved if I do not like it?

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be adjusted with a dissolving enzyme. However, a full return to your pretreatment appearance cannot be guaranteed, and the enzyme itself carries risks, so the decision follows a medical assessment.

When will swelling subside?

Initial swelling usually settles over 1–2 weeks, varying by area and person. Shape and further correction are assessed after reviewing progress.

Can I add filler over filler from another clinic?

We first check the type of existing product and where and when it was injected. We assess remaining filler and your current condition before deciding on further treatment.

Can filler and botulinum toxin be performed the same day?

They are sometimes combined. Area, purpose and history guide suitability, sequence and intervals.

What should I discuss at a filler design consultation?

Tell us which area concerns you most, how much change you want and which aspects of your appearance you want to preserve. Reviewing differences from the front, in profile and with expression helps make the plan more specific.
