Onda Body

Onda Body treats areas with concentrated fat or lax skin, such as the abdomen and thighs. Microwave energy delivers heat to fat beneath the skin and surrounding tissues to address localized fat, firmness and uneven skin associated with cellulite.

An area may look thick because of fat or skin laxity, requiring different approaches. We assess fat amount, skin thickness, weight changes and desired contour before treatment.

For the body, we use the Deep handpiece acting on subcutaneous tissue at about 12mm depth. It is used in fatty areas such as the abdomen or thighs, with intensity and scope adjusted to fat amount and skin thickness.

Onda delivers heat to the fat layer and surrounding connective tissue to help reduce localized fat and improve body contour. It also stimulates skin collagen to address fat and firmness together.

Changes develop gradually and vary with fat amount and skin condition. It does not remove large amounts of fat at once like liposuction or cause substantial weight loss. Weight changes and lifestyle also need consideration.

Cellulite is uneven or orange-peel-like skin. It is affected by connective tissue beneath the skin and firmness as well as fat. Onda acts on fat and surrounding tissue to address surface unevenness and firmness together.

Stretch marks arise as skin stretches rapidly and differ from fat and cellulite. Care varies with whether marks are red or older and white, how indented they are and the laxity of surrounding skin.

Onda may be considered for loose skin and firmness around stretch marks. However, the color and indentation of stretch marks do not improve in the same way. We assess the marks and surrounding skin and advise on separate treatment when needed.

We use 3–4 sessions about 4 weeks apart as a planning reference. Sessions and intervals are adjusted for skin response, fat amount and desired changes. We assess later changes in contour and firmness rather than judging results immediately after treatment.

1. Assessment: We assess fat amount, skin thickness, cellulite, stretch marks and laxity, as well as weight changes and previous surgery or treatments.
2. Scope: We select the handpiece, scope and intensity for your area of concern and goals.
3. Oil application · Treatment: After applying oil, we move the handpiece in contact with the skin to deliver energy. We cool the skin and monitor heat sensation and pain.
4. Follow-up guidance: We assess skin response and explain recovery care and the next treatment schedule.

Redness, heat, tenderness and swelling may occur. Avoid saunas, strenuous exercise and alcohol on treatment day, and adjust activities to your skin response.

Tell the clinic about severe pain, blisters or burns, persistent firm lumps or skin-color changes. Before treatment, disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding, implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers, and metal implants, inflammation or infection in the area.
