What is this treatment?

V-LASER is WONTECH's long-pulsed device, described with 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG. Vascular and pigment approaches differ; visible redness/darkness alone does not justify one setting. Lesion type, skin color and prior response come first.

Vascular and pigment approaches differ.

Lasers deliver specific wavelengths to tissue, where absorbed energy becomes heat. Wavelength/settings change target and response. Coexisting redness/pigment are not assumed to share one cause or target.

Manufacturer information lists long-pulsed 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG. Having a wavelength/mode differs from suitability for a lesion. Diagnosis and skin guide the method.

What we review at your consultation

  • When you want medical assessment of redness or visible vessels
  • When you want pigment type and suitable laser explained

Tell us onset of redness/pigment, sunlight/stimulus effects and prior responses. We assess skin color, lesions, inflammation and wounds.

Disclose medications, supplements and topicals. Ingredients, drugs and recent sun may affect laser response/recovery. Consult before stopping medication.

Please check before proceeding

Distinguishing vascular concerns from pigmentation.

Skin color, lesion patterns, recent sun and prior response guide eligibility.

Checking safe preparation.

Disclose medications, topical products and current conditions. Appropriate laser eye protection is needed.

Treatment planning and guidance

  1. Assessment: Review causes, lesion features, skin color and history.
  2. Plan: Understand suitability, method, expected responses and recovery care.
  3. Eye protection and treatment: Confirm suitable protection. Report unexpected pain/discomfort immediately.
  4. Response check: Assess reactions and obtain skincare/follow-up guidance.

Recovery & Follow-Up

Redness, heat, swelling or bruising may follow, varying with lesion/settings. Follow individual irritation/sun-exposure guidance.

Response varies with lesions, settings and skin. Redness/swelling may occur, with rare burns, infection, color changes or scarring. Follow eye-protection and UV guidance; report unexpected/worsening reactions.

Precautions to review in advance

  • Blisters, burns, infection or color changes may occur, requiring suitability assessment and follow-up.
  • Contact us for worsening pain, redness/swelling or unexpected response.
  • A set number does not guarantee removal of every vascular/pigmented lesion.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is V-LASER?

A long-pulsed laser with manufacturer-stated 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG. Lesion features guide wavelengths/settings.

Are redness and pigment treated the same way?

Different causes and features require different approaches. Skin color, lesions and prior response guide plans.

Does skin settle immediately afterward?

Redness, heat, swelling or bruising may occur; recovery varies. Report blisters, worsening pain, color changes or unexpected response.

Do similar colors need the same laser?

Visible color alone cannot determine lesion type or settings. We assess vascular/pigment patterns, skin color and response.

Should I disclose medication or cosmetic use?

Disclose medications, supplements and topical products, as they may affect response/recovery. Confirm with clinicians before stopping anything.

Is eye protection needed during laser?

Lasers risk eye injury, so suitable protection is needed. Confirm protection beforehand and report discomfort immediately.
