What is Thermage FLX?

Thermage FLX uses monopolar RF to induce collagen changes for firmness/wrinkles. A contact tip delivers energy; facial cooling/vibration are designed to reduce burden.

What are Thermage FLX's features?

RF inducing collagen changes

RF heats tissue and subsequent collagen remodeling may produce smoother, firmer-looking skin. Response varies with skin and plan.

AccuREP Calibration

FLX uses AccuREP automatic energy calibration. Clinicians also assess scope and response; automation does not guarantee individual efficacy or safety.

Cooling/vibration for facial treatment

Cooling helps protect the surface; vibration aims to reduce discomfort. Short hot sensations repeat and pain varies. Vibration is not used around the eyes with protective shields; method follows the area.

When may it be considered?

  • When your skin feels looser and less firm than before
  • When fine lines and overall smoothness concern you
  • When you want firming without incisions or injections

We assess sagging, facial volume and thickness. Prominent hollows or severe sagging may require other options.

When do results appear, and how long do they last?

Immediate tightness may occur, followed by gradual firmness/wrinkle changes over about 2–6 months.

Effects may last about 1–2 years, varying with skin, aging and lifestyle. Actual changes guide further timing.

How is the treatment performed?

  1. We assess firmness, wrinkles, volume and history.
  2. We plan tip and scope for skin and concerns.
  3. We monitor heat and skin response during energy delivery.
  4. We assess skin and explain recovery and care.

Duration varies with scope, shots and preparation. Visit estimates include consultation, anesthesia and other preparation.

Recovery & Precautions

Most resume activities quickly, but redness, swelling or pain may occur. Rare burns, blisters, pigment changes, surface irregularity or altered sensation are possible.

Report blisters, severe pain, altered sensation or movement. Worsening redness/swelling or slow recovery also warrant assessment.

People with electronic implants such as pacemakers cannot receive it. Disclose pregnancy/breastfeeding, conditions, filler and threads. Existing-treatment areas require product/date/skin checks.

Eye Thermage

WayB performs Eye Thermage with a dedicated tip suited to eye-area skin.

What is Eye Thermage?

Eye Thermage uses FLX's dedicated eye tip for eye-area/eyelid fine lines and laxity. This tip suits narrow, delicate areas; thickness and sagging guide scope.

How does it differ from facial Thermage?

Both use RF, but tips, scope and eye protection differ. Eyelid treatment uses a dedicated eye tip and appropriate protection, not a standard facial tip.

Which concerns may suit it?

It may suit fine lines or mild eyelid laxity. Hollows, fat protrusion and eye-opening dysfunction have different causes; assessment identifies suitable options.

What should I monitor during recovery?

Temporary redness, swelling or discomfort may follow. Eye pain or vision changes require immediate assessment. Report burns, blisters or worsening pain immediately too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which suits me, Thermage or Ultherapy?

Thermage may suit lax skin, fine lines and texture; Ultherapy PRIME may suit cheek/jawline sagging. They differ in layers and delivery, allowing combination including the same day, with sequence/scope/intensity tailored to skin.

How painful is it?

Repeated short, hot sensations may occur. Cooling/vibration and monitoring help manage burden. Pain management follows area and sensitivity.

When will I see results?

Some immediate tightening may be felt; actual changes develop gradually over 2–6 months.

How many sessions do I need?

Usually one session followed by review. Results may last about 1–2 years, varying with skin, aging and lifestyle. Firmness/wrinkle changes guide further treatment.

Can Thermage make cheeks look hollow?

Thermage is not generally intended to create cheek hollows. Existing hollows do not automatically exclude the area; thickness and volume guide design. Temporary contraction may make hollows more apparent, requiring discussion beforehand. Persistent/worsening new depression or asymmetry needs assessment.

How is authenticity checked?

Tip packaging and device display allow you to check authenticity and remaining shots.
