Comfort Lifting is WayB's program for sagging and firmness using CoolSoniq or XERF according to skin. CoolSoniq uses HIFU; XERF uses dual-frequency RF. Energy and cooling are adjusted for outcomes and comfort.

CoolSoniq · XERF, two lifts selected for your skin

Reasons and degrees of sagging differ. WayB assesses thickness, volume, goals and sensitivity to choose lifting. This is a program selecting needed care, rather than a fixed package requiring both devices.

Cooling and adjustments to intensity and speed aim to reduce pain burden. Heat and pain may still occur; we adjust while monitoring skin response.

CoolSoniq — ultrasound lifting for sagging skin and facial contours

CoolSoniq is a lifting device combining focused ultrasound with cooling. It delivers energy at a depth suited to the area to address skin sagging and firmness.

Who may be suitable?

  • When discussing firmness and sagging while also considering treatment pain
  • When previous lifting was uncomfortable and you want adjustments to method and intensity
  • When you want device selection suited to your skin and recovery schedule

What we check together before treatment

We check skin and fat thickness, hollowness and prior filler, threads and energy treatments. Disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding, inflammation, infection and electronic implants. No device suits everyone; areas and eligibility are determined at assessment.

How does it work?

CoolSoniq creates thermal coagulation points at target depths with focused ultrasound and uses tissue responses during recovery. Cooling is designed to reduce surface heat buildup.

1.5, 3.0 and 4.5mm are cartridge focal depths. Actual skin, subcutaneous tissue and fascia positions vary by area and individual. CoolSoniq has no real-time ultrasound imaging; we consider device differences, including when imaging is needed.

What are CoolSoniq's features?

ACC cooling — cooling the skin-contact surface

ACC (Active Conduction Cooling) suppresses overheating of the ultrasound source and cools the skin-contact surface. It is intended to protect the surface and reduce pain burden. Sensation varies by area, settings and sensitivity.

Pen applicator — close contact along facial contours

The pen-shaped applicator moves in contact with curved areas. The manufacturer calls its technology TDT (Thermal Diffusion Treatment). We adjust the treatment range and speed for skin thickness and bone and nerve locations.

Three depths — tailored to tissue condition in each area

We select target depth with 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5mm applicators. Deeper is not better everywhere. Choice considers skin and fat thickness, existing hollowness and desired changes.

How is the treatment performed?

  • Assessment: We check sagging and skin thickness and select applicators and shot counts by area.
  • Anesthesia: Cooling reduces the anesthesia burden, but topical anesthesia may be added if needed.
  • Treatment: We work by area and adjust the order over bony areas. Before starting, we agree that a raised hand means stop.
  • Soothing: Cooling and soothing before leaving. Everyday activities can resume the same day.

How long do results last?

Results may last about 6–12 months, varying with skin condition, treatment scope and individual response.

More shots alone do not mean longer duration. Sagging, firmness and previous response guide the next treatment timing.

Recovery & Precautions

  • Mild redness and swelling often settle within hours, but may last 2–3 days. Recovery varies.
  • Avoid alcohol, saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for about a week. Maintain sunscreen and moisturizing.
  • Gentle cleansing and makeup are often possible the same day, but adjust as instructed if irritation remains.
  • Filler and thread lifting may be performed the same day. Scope and order depend on areas and skin condition, with separate appointments if needed.

Contact the clinic if this occurs

  • If blisters or weeping occur
  • If sensation is reduced or expressions feel unusual
  • If mild redness or pain persists for 7 days or longer
  • Rapidly worsening redness, pain or swelling, or accompanying heat or fever, regardless of duration

How we proceed at WayB

  • We adjust cooling, intensity, speed and area sequence to skin response.
  • We do not rank devices uniformly; areas and scope are determined after assessment.
  • Before starting, we agree that you can raise your hand to signal uncomfortable pain.
  • Consultation and treatment take place in private rooms, with communication in 4 languages.

XERF — personalized firming with two RF frequencies

XERF uses radiofrequency at 6.78MHz and 2MHz to address skin firmness and facial contours. The range and intensity of heat delivery are adjusted for skin thickness, facial volume and the area of concern. Variable pulses and cooling are designed to reduce heat burden on the skin surface during treatment.

What is XERF?

XERF is a lifting device using dual-frequency monopolar RF. It delivers heat to induce collagen contraction and remodeling, addressing firmness and wrinkles.

Even within one face, thickness, areas needing volume preservation and areas of prominent sagging differ. XERF allows energy settings to be adjusted for these differences.

Who may be suitable?

  • When your skin feels looser and less firm than before
  • When fine lines and skin smoothness both concern you
  • When cheek and jaw sagging blurs facial contours
  • When you want care suited to thickness and volume rather than one intensity across the whole face
  • When considering RF firming while also discussing treatment heat and pain

Suitability depends on the cause and degree of sagging, skin thickness and hollowness. When laxity and volume loss coexist, we distinguish their causes to determine treatment direction.

What we check together before treatment

Always disclose implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers or metal implants in the area. We also check pregnancy or breastfeeding, local inflammation, infection, wounds, altered sensation, underlying conditions and medications.

Disclose the timing and sites of recent filler, threads, skin boosters, laser or RF. Skin condition and device precautions may limit treatment or change scope and timing.

How does it work?

6.78MHz and 2MHz — two frequencies deliver heat

XERF uses 6.78MHz and 2MHz to heat tissue, stimulating collagen and subsequent remodeling to induce improved firmness.

We distinguish thin-skinned areas from those with prominent sagging and select the settings each needs. We do not use the deepest or strongest setting everywhere.

Shallow · Middle · Deep — adjusting scope for your skin

XERF's three Depth settings adjust the spread of heat energy. Settings may vary by area according to skin thickness, facial volume, sagging and fine lines.

Thin, delicate areas receive appropriate settings, and areas with greater laxity receive scope suited to skin condition. Deeper settings are not better for every skin type.

Wave Fit Pulse and ICD cooling — controlling heat sensation and energy delivery

Wave Fit Pulse varies pulses according to delivered energy, adjusting delivery during heat increase and maintenance.

ICD uses refrigerant gas to control surface heat. Variable pulses and cooling settings help avoid excessive heat buildup. Heat or pain can still occur, so we monitor skin response and comfort.

We assess skin condition and surface temperature

XERF has impedance feedback to measure skin's electrical resistance and a surface-temperature check. Clinicians consider the displayed information alongside actual skin response.

When do results appear, and how long do they last?

You may feel immediate tightening. As collagen remodels over weeks to months, gradual changes in firmness and contours may appear.

Onset and duration vary with skin, scope, settings and response. We follow progress rather than judging initial tightness or swelling alone. If repeat treatment is needed, firmness changes and previous response guide timing.

How is the treatment performed?

  1. Assessment and skin check: We review sagging, fine lines, thickness, facial volume and previous treatments.
  2. Treatment-area design: We set Depth, intensity and scope by area, selecting tips for skin condition.
  3. Preparation and settings: We cleanse the skin, prepare the device and check skin condition and cooling. Anesthesia depends on the plan and pain sensitivity.
  4. Radiofrequency treatment: The tip contacts the skin to deliver energy. Usually about 15–30 minutes, depending on area and shot count.
  5. Skin response check: We assess redness, heat and other reactions and explain aftercare.

Recovery & Precautions

  • Daily activities are often possible after treatment. Redness, swelling, heat and tenderness may occur, and recovery varies individually.
  • Maintain moisturizing and sunscreen; avoid strong friction and irritating cosmetics until skin settles.
  • If heat or redness remains, avoid excessive heat such as saunas or steam rooms and pause strenuous exercise.
  • Adjust cleansing and makeup to skin response. If combined with another treatment, follow its precautions too.
  • Tell us about important upcoming events so we can allow recovery time alongside assessing your skin.

Contact the clinic if this occurs

  • If blisters, weeping or burn marks occur
  • If pain, redness or swelling worsens
  • If skin color changes markedly or altered sensation persists
  • When unusual discomfort makes you want a recovery check

How we proceed at WayB

  • We assess thickness, volume and prominent sagging by area rather than applying one setting across the face.
  • We distinguish hollow areas from areas needing firming to set scope and energy.
  • Results are considered through areas, energy, cooling and skin response, not shot count alone.
  • We monitor heat and pain during treatment, adjusting settings and technique.
  • If another lifting or volume treatment better suits your skin, we explain those options.
